New Opportunity to work for a highly regarded pharmaceutical company in MA.
Main Tasks
• Develop robust prediction models for the ADME/Toxicity properties (hERG, solubility, CYP inhibition, stability, BBB, etc) of small molecules with the estimation of confidence of these models.
• Interpret the calculated/predicted results to the medicinal chemists and help them to design new compounds.
• Perform docking or pharmacophore modeling based on crystal structures to support the lead optimization process.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have strong QSPR/QSAR background on small molecules. The candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry (preferably organic or medicinal chemistry), Pharmacology, or closely related discipline along with more than five years of pharmaceutical discovery experience (experience in designing kinase inhibitors are desirable). The individual should have good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
