Job Description
|
The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon and the Research Center in Pharmaceutical Sciences (CECF) are seeking two postdoctoral research associates to work in medicinal chemistry projects on the design and synthesis of novel molecules directed towards several key therapeutic targets related to neurodegenerative diseases. Candidates must have a PhD in Chemistry or a closely related area and significant post-doctoral research experience in organic synthesis in the context of medicinal chemistry projects and ideally have some experience in biological evaluation. The successful applicants will be expected to maintain an externally funded research program within the Medicinal Chemistry Division. The appointees will also play a major role in the organisation and running of the medicinal chemistry laboratory, including assisting with supervision of PhD students.
