Role :
Responsible to perform multi-step synthesis in Medicinal chemistry lead optimization.
Skill Set:
Strong competency in the synthetic organic / Medicinal chemistry; Experience in a variety of synthetic methods, especially in heterocyclic chemistry would be an added advantage; Experience of performing multi-step synthesis in Med. Chem. lead optimization, full understanding of mechanistic details, scale-up and/ or process chemistry; Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, highly team-oriented environment that includes medicinal and process chemists and biologists; Ideal candidates must have demonstrated abilities in taking initiative, work independently, problem solving, team work and communication skills; Experience in working with a drug discovery environment with an appreciation of Medicinal Chemistry is desirable.
