Job Description
A Senior Software Development Engineer who will provide both technical leadership and hands-on software development in delivering content to online services. Other duties include participation in and influencing the evolvement of existing software and data architecture.
Required Skills
* Bachelors degree in computer science and/or computer engineering
* Minimum of 3 years of software development experience in a Unix/Linux,
MacOS and/or Windows computing environment.
* Strong technical aptitude and proven technical leaderships skills
o Hands-on development experience with XQuery and XML server technology
o Hands-on development experience with Java Server Faces, Dojo Ajax Tool kits, WUI & server technology
o Working knowledge of W3C XML initiatives
+ Experience with Altova’s XML tools (XMLSPY & MapForce)
+ Working knowledge of JEE & Java
+ Strong analysis skills and attention to detail
+ Strong teaming and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge of Mobile Application Development
o Objective-C
o Cocoa Touch
o Xcode
o Interface Builder
o iPhone SDK
* Knowledge of Project Management practices
* Knowledge of Chemistry
* Exposure to large scale data processing using Mapreduce, Apache Lucene & Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP)
