SENIOR SCIENTIST PARAMUS, NJ·MUST HAVE HTS AND GPCR and CNS·Design assays for library screening to support our client’s drug discovery pipeline.·Optimize and run functional assays for G protein-coupled receptors.·Collaborate with leading scientists in cell biology to ensure robust protein expression from cell lines.·Work with a team of chemists to advance specific drug discovery projects.·Provide expert user knowledge in the design of a future state of the art HTS facility.PhD in molecular pharmacology or biochemistry with focus on GPCR biology.2-5 years industrial experience in drug discovery, preferably within the field of GPCRs and CNS biology.Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following:GPCR pharmacology/signal transduction, radioligand binding assays, cell-based assays, automation, expression systems for membrane proteins, fluorescence-based measurements (FLIPR.)Experience with effectively working with other professionals, especially in a collaborative culture.Strong interp
