Job Description · Contribute to the evaluation and development of new inquiries (i.e. cost and resource allocation) · Develops process research project plans in collaboration that incorporate small-scale manufacture with other staff (e.g. Business Development, Pilot Plant) · Collaborate with other R+D Managers in assigning resources (lab space, equipment and staff) to projects· Co-ordinate multi-functional project teams · Monitor project plans progress through tools such as regular status meetings, schedule reviews, Gantt Charts and facilitate resolution of outstanding issues· Lead in the management of staff through contributing to activities such as recruitment and performance management · Provide advice to staff in R+D project leadership roles · Fulfil point of contact role for clients on scientific matters related to project· Prepare final project reports· Participate in project evaluations through report review, analysis and coaching · Ensure safe and clean lab operations · Proven experience in project management · Advanced knowledge of synthetic organic and process chemistry· Strong knowledge and experience with production capabilities in pilot plant and kilo lab environments under cGMP· Understanding of analytical chemistry and regulatory affairs would be an asset · Knowledge and experience in operational leadership including resource management skills   Please describe the job you are offering.
